Effect in the skin:

The Oxygen Boost Toner is a non-irritating, alcohol-free toner that provides targeted pH balancing after cleansing and returns the skin to its physiological state.
It supports the stabilization of the acid mantle, soothes irritation factors and simultaneously provides the skin with cell-available moisture.

Thanks to its balancing effect, it improves the intercellular moisture flow, strengthens the barrier function and regulates the skin environment – an essential prerequisite for specifically controlling the effect of the subsequent Meta Therapy.

Medical-dermatological relevance before Meta Therapy:

After every cleansing – even with mild products – the skin is slightly alkaline for a short time, which can affect the barrier function and reactivity.
Before Meta Therapy, it is therefore essential to restore the physiological pH value of approx. 5.5 in order to:

• optimize the skin’s ability to absorb subjectables

• avoid undesirable reactions (e.g. due to pH instability)

• activate the immune response to the desired extent

• create a smooth, tension-free surface for working with the module heads
